Project story

As part of a major home renovation, this historic Portsmouth property received a beautifully designed new garage addition that seamlessly complements the original architecture. Once construction was complete, our team stepped in to provide the finishing touch—preparing and painting the entire exterior so the original home and new addition looked as though they had always belonged together. Every surface was carefully power washed, scraped, spot primed, and caulked before being professionally painted with Sherwin-Williams Shoji White (SW 7042) on the siding and trim, while the doors were finished in Balanced Beige (SW 7037) to create a warm, inviting focal point. We also painted the detached shed to create a cohesive look across the property and completed minor carpentry repairs before painting to ensure a beautiful, long-lasting finish. The result is a seamless blend of historic character and modern craftsmanship, where the newly constructed garage and original home come together as one polished, elegant exterior built to withstand New England's demanding climate.
